Product description The TELRAN development kit is designed to support fast development of short range ultra-low energy wireless applications with up to eight sensor nodes. The kit comprises of a Telran USB basestation, plug in Telran RF module and detachable sensor node with PIC18LF25K22 and 3 axis accelerometer. Example GUI software for Win 7/Vista/Win XP operates the system as a wireless 3 axis accelerometer. New applications can easily be developed by connecting alternative sensors via the SPI/GPIO/I2C/1 wire micro-connector on the plugin RF module. The Telran RF module can easily be controlled by an external host processor using high level system commands sent via UART or SPI. The boards include all RF critical circuitry with an on-board chip antenna and U.FL connector (no fit for US 915MHz) for external antenna. The sensor board includes an expansion connector for general development use or interfacing to UMI or M-bus for smart metering applications
