Aftermarket membranes cause the action buttons to sit a lot lower and you don’t have the same feel or responsiveness. – I take great care to clean all the contacts on the gameboy including the button pad contacts, charge connection, battery contacts, link connection, and cartridge pin contacts so your gameboy games make a good connection when you insert them. That way you don’t have that garbled Nintendo message that everybody hates. – This gameboy is a great piece of nostalgia and would make a excellent holiday gift for any retro gamer or to be honest anyone born in ’80s and ’90s. – I take a lot of care in refurbishing each one of these systems. I spend hours on each one to make them as durable and good quality as possible.
