It features a 96×64 pixel monochrome LCD screen, an internal real-time clock, an infrared port used to facilitate multiplayer gaming, a reed switch for detecting shakes, and a motor used to implement force feedback. Only ten games were released worldwide, half of which were exclusive to Japan and one of which was only unreleased in North America. The Pokémon Mini was a commercial failure, selling only around 1 million units worldwide. It was discontinued in 2003.
