Sega Mega Drive 1 / Genesis 1 Sega Mega Drive 1 / Genesis 2 VDP to 3BP board quick guide: After lifting the VDP RGB pins, align the VDP23BP board beneath them and remove the double-sided tape on the bottom side of the VDP board too keep the board in place. Anchor the board down further by connecting the +5V and GND pads the nearby capacitor so that the board is secure. Lastly solder the VDP RGB pins to the board and place some Kapton tape over the top to ensure the board will not move freely. Sync pads are optional. Proceed with Triple Bypass V2 install as per usual. What are the three included resistors for? Essentially they are only for installations that require the lifting of VDP pins (MD1 + MD2 VA3/VA4). RetroGen Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Handheld Console

Box has minor shelf wear. It doesn’t look like the console was actually used (there’s the protective silvery thing over the buttons) but that smudge / scratch didn’t immediately wipe off the screen, so I’m listing it as used.
