Nintendo GameCube Clear Translucent Shell US Region Console NTSC-U/C White LED This listing is for Nintendo GameCube console that has had its shell swapped with clear shell. This console is originally a Japanese region console and now console’s region and language have been changed to English (NTSC-US/Canada) and now this console plays US games (Basically this console is the same as US released console and it will only play US games. It WILL NOT play Japanese games anymore. The top jewel / name plate has a protective clear plastic film that you can peel off. Backup battery was replaced with replaceable battery holder with a new battery so that you can open the console and replace the battery without soldering skill in the future. Power LED is changed to White. We can change it to a different color by request (Slow RGB, Blue, etc) Please send us a message and let us know before your purchase. We have replaced a capacitor(s) that is(are) related to the drive unit and also adjusted the laser strength to the optimal setting. You can simply choose “Color” from the dropdown menu and see photos of the exact color shell you are purchasing. There are four different colors to pick, Clear White, Clear Black, Clear Purple, and Clear Yellow. You can also purchase “AC adapter”, “AV cable & AC adapter”, or “HDMI & AC Adapter”. AC adapter is Nintendo OEM made (It is Japanese model but it works in US as well). AV cable is 3rd party made. HDMI adapter takes S-video signal and good to play on big flat screen TV. Simply choose options under “Need AC Adapter / Video Cable?”. We test AV port with Composite AV Cable ad Digital AV Cable. Now we have a set up for testing Digital AV and we are making sure Digital AV out is working. We carefully test the console again right before we ship out. Also, we use good amount of bubble wraps to protect the console and then put it in the cardboard box to ship it. Even though we try our best to ship the item protected but there is always a possibility that console can get damaged during the transit. If it doesn’t work upon arrival, please let us know.
