This console is painted unfortunately. Original owner told me that the cover was scratched and that’s why she painted it. The hinge does have some wear but doesn’t appear to do anything to movement of console. The console works very well! Charger included. Charger works well!

Overall the system is in great shape. The game card slot will need repairing as it reads game cards from time to time and sometime it will not read them. The screen and shell are in great shape showing very little to no scratches. Console comes stylus plus charge cord. Battery is strong and ready to play. Great sound.
